Like you I adopted internationally as a single parent. My daughter is now 18 and has just left for college. She was three and had always lived in the orphanage. Over the years she has talked of finding her birthparents but I think she may want to do pursue this in earnest. So your story is so wonderful. It must be so hard for these kids who are torn between two worlds. God bless your families.
I want to represent the chinese community in thanking you all for reaching out to these children at the orphanage. Most of the chinese themselve do not have such courage, love and compassion to adopt. Thank you for sharing your love to all these children. :}
